I am a multi award-winning communications, public affairs and engagement professional who has led highly successful campaigns over 27 years. I have worked for 16 years at a senior level for NFP organisations tackling sustainability and social challenges — and for a decade before that in world-leading advertising and marketing agencies.
My approach to planning communications and public affairs campaigns is proven to be effective and gives confidence to leadership colleagues before marketing investment is committed. My work enables the conditions for highly successful fundraising campaigns.
I led the creation of the Holiday Hunger campaign supported by Marcus Rashford MBE during lockdown — now an exemplar model of public affairs influencing included in academic curricula, which positively transformed the financial status of FareShare forever.

Led the Holiday Hunger public affairs campaign supported by Marcus Rashford MBE, resulting in over £600m in government funding to tackle child food poverty — now a model included in academic curricula.
Grew public awareness of FareShare 20-fold and helped drive annual revenue from £13m to £72m — a six-fold increase — leaving over £27m in reserves. Won the Sheila McKechnie Award for outstanding campaigning.
More than doubled media coverage at IIED to nearly 4,000 mentions per year with reach exceeding 10 billion. Grew social media community by 45,000 followers. Won a £750k Generation Foundation grant for the Hidden Handbrakes campaign.
Pitched for and secured a £750k grant from the Generation Foundation for IIED's Hidden Handbrakes campaign — producing work referenced in the Baku to Belem Roadmap published at COP30.
Created and led the media strategy that delivered 10 times the coverage compared to before — growing from 350 to 3,500 monthly media mentions. Website visits grew by over 144% per average month.
Streamlined marketing budgets from £10m to £1m per year at the Carbon Trust through insourcing, digitalisation and owned media development — while maintaining and growing impact across all channels.
